WARD CHRISTMAS PARTY

The Primary children got up to sing and Mitchell just couldn't resist himself.

We thought it would be more distracting to run up and grab him.

He just stood there so nice, pretending to sing!

So cute.

They acted out, "Twas the Night Before Christmas"

and Colette and her friends from Sunbeams got to be the

"sugar plums dancing in their heads"

So the Bishop and his wife were pretending to be asleep, 

and Colette and the girls danced all around them. 

It was pretty adorable.

Then of course SANTA CAME!

Parker asked for the new Legend of Zelda game.

which is really sweet because he doesn't like to play it, 

he likes to watch daddy playing it.

Colette asked for a new dress.

I love her.

There you go!

Then we played a game where the kids had to get all dressed up in snow gear,

then hurry and take it off so the next kid could do it.

It was boys against girls.

They did really well helping each other.

Girls win the first round!

Now we switch.

The boys win the second round!

Colette wins the cute award!

Parker kept dancing around with Rudolph and making everybody laugh.

Then we made sparkly star ornaments.

Then we made a treat necklace with

Lifesavers

chocolate covered pretzels

cookies

and Fruit Loops.

YUMMMMMY!

Then we got a SURPRISE package in the mail from 

GRANDPA and GRANDMA SKIFTON!

It expressly said to OPEN IT NOW!

It was an adorable Christmas box that plays music when you push a button.

Then the top goes up and there is a cute little window all around

to watch the lights and ice skaters around the Christmas tree.

30 minutes later... still at it.

And as everyone else tapered off to do other things,

Mitchell stood there playing with it for almost an hour.

It is constantly fought over, 

and causes great excitement with all the kids.
