MERRY CHRISTMAS!

CHRISTMAS TIME IS HERE!

Santa brought Colette a bunny. She named him Dasher.

He had to hide it in our storage room for a few days and check on it several times a day to make sure it was alive, clean up its poo incognito, and smuggle him carrots.

What a guy!

But knowing my kid's fear of dark, storage spaces, He knew it was the only safe place to hide it.

This has "awkward family photos" written all over it.

"Imagine you're surrounded by sea horses in a fountain of sea foam..."

Oh yeah, I'm holding a living animal.

Colette is beginning to understand why Mom has such a hard time letting go of her allusion of control. 

In other words, Colette doesn't like to share.

For Mitchell, Christmas was more about losing than getting.

One more front tooth to go until he can live out the quintessential children's Christmas carol.

They asked the kids at church to name one tradition that meant the most to them at Christmas 

and Mitchell yelled out: 

"AUNT MICHELLE COMES!"

Luckily for us, we've had her come two years in a row now.

It's a great tradition!

When Michelle comes to town,

there are a few inevitable things that will happen...

The kids want Michelle to make graham cracker houses with them.

(she was at the table... at the far end... on her phone)

haha. Just kidding Michelle!

And Michelle wants the kids to dig for candy in whipped cream pies!

She brought a ton of Minute-to-win-it games! 

Parker gobbled out the most gumdrops from a whipped cream pie!

He's going places, that kid!

Now here's a kid that is used to having food smeared all over his face.

He didn't even play. He always looks like this.

Britta wanted to look like Santa Claus!

She's pretty handy with a spoon in her mouth!

Besides Minute-to-win-it,

it is inevitable that we will be playing all kinds of board games.

Grandpa Gary and Grandma Nan sent us Disney Monopoly

complete with a POP UP castle!

Richard acquired yet another expansion to KILLER BUNNIES

(pumpkin spice)

Making this the largest deck of cards anyone has ever played with.

Many many bunnies were lost in the playing of this game.

Luckily Dasher wasn't one of them. 

Killer bunnies isn't the only cards Richard is good at stacking.

(It's been snowing... A lot)

For our Clark family Christmas Party, we had a white elephant gift exchange.

I love my new Dunder Mifflin T-shirt, but

Mitchell however took the prize home with GIANT UNO CARDS!*

Let's just say it puts a whole new punishment to the "Draw +4" card.

Feels like you're holding a whole ream of paper!
