Mitchell Update
Mitchell's New Shoulder
And he's still happy.
Nothing dampens this boys spirits...
unless you beat him at Mario Kart,
or Super Smash Bros,
but anyway... you get what I mean.
Remember this adorable little guy when he broke the tips of his fingers?
We sat him by the window to sleep in the chaise lounge.
Then he mentioned how his only view is the hammock where he fell...
Bummer.
Phew!
As long as he can still grasp a remote so he can play video games
and remote control cars, life is OOOOKAY!
Parker has stepped up to be a really sweet helper in all of this.
He helps get Mitchell dressed, puts on his sock and shoes, pours his cereal.
Just exactly what you'd expect a true boy scout to do.
Mitchell is healing really quickly.
In fact when I saw him ON THE TRAMPOLINE yesterday,
I almost had a heart attack.
He feels better than he should considering he still needs to wear a sling,
and stay away from danger for another week AT LEAST. 😖
And Mom thinks EVERYTHING IS DANGER!
Since Easter just raced by, we had a super fun family day!
Michelle made us these ADORABLE desserts!
Almost as adorable as the man eating it. 😍
Saturday was spent with such much needed yard work
now that the snow has melted.
When Mitchell asked if he had to help,
I said of course not.
He responded,
"YES! THIS IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME!"
a lazy man's dream.
The rest of us were happy to get out in the sun and sweat!
THERE'S PARKER! Nice try.
P.S.
The weird sleeper has been spotted again.
This time she conked out in Britta's bed.
(she likes books)
