Marching ahead
The seasons are threatening to shift
here in Idaho,
but I suspect the warmer weather is only a tease.
However, life is happy and busy.
Here's a glimpse into our life outside of holidays and birthdays.
Parker has taken on the alto SAXOPHONE!
We got in with a GREAT teacher
who is also the band director at a local high school.
Can't wait to hear him practicing!
🙉
no seriously, the sound of instruments being practiced is my favorite.
It's the sound of progress.
Mitchell and Cora have become quite the ballroom dancers.
Big dip at the end!
Colette misses cheering and tumbling,
so she practices stunts with little sis.
She's everyone favorite stunt double.
And while the kids are away at school,
she sits next to mom and dad
with her favorite toy
SLIME!
Happy to see life getting back to normal!
We've decided to eat out more while we can!
Grandma has taken on another quilt project!
For Lisa and Heath.
Cora is really good at handing her tacks.
While the ice is still frozen,
and winter is still holding,
Parker and Richard went ice fishing with the ward.
This is in Island Park.
A fantastic Idaho getaway here near our home.
Step 1: Find a spot...
Step 2: Dig a hole...
Step 3: Catch fish!
Since there faces are so well covered...
We'll say this is Richard and Parker catching fish!
Not a fan of embellishing?
Fine...
Actual Richard.
No fish.
And Parker slept for about 4 hours when he got home!
Wow.
That about gets us up to date with the Skifton's.
Life goes on and on.
