Mitchell's 11th Birthday!

He opted for a Zelda themed cake this year.

Complete with Navi the fairy cake pops.

The Seals came to have cake with us!

Having Max over was the best present for Mitchell!

We went skiing the day after his birthday.

Colette pretending she isn't excited to go snowboarding.

Cora met a new friend named Willow.

She is darling!

They were at the "spa"

Then she played in a huge snowfort!

MITCHELL

in a nutshell.

Mitchell is very clever.

Top grades at the school.

He is in Gifted and Talented.

He is also like me though, that he doesn't really have to try that hard.

So sometimes I want to correct the folly of my youth

and make him try really hard.

But he is a really happy kid.

He can put a positive spin on anything.

I'm always hearing him talking to his siblings

and giving them a pep talk on how things will be ok.

He really cares about others and wants to comfort them.

He always sees a solution.

No wonder he has become a master at puzzles.

He can solve a Rubic's Cube in about 2 minutes.

He is a really good friend.

A really sweet brother,

and an ideal son.

He still gives us all hugs before he goes to bed everynight.

He recently won an art contest at school.

He designed a bookmark and all the kids voted.

He unanimously won first prize!

Now they will print the bookmark 

for every one at school to have one.

It's hard for people not to like Mitchell.

He performs,

he dances,

he tells jokes

and makes people happy wherever he is!

So grateful for Mitchell!

He reminds me of the very best that this world has to offer!
