Mother, MAY i?

Here's a look at May.
We had school ending,
Summer beginning...
money earning and money spending...

Parker with his best friend Tanner.
Night at the Roxbury?
They were celebrating Tanner's graduation.

KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION!
SHE DID IT!
Here she is with her awesome principal!

Goodbye Cubby!

Her teacher had a baby right at the end of the school year.

Here she is getting ready for her musical number!
(We had already heard it at home 100 times)
She nailed it!!

Since Cora is (I mean WAS) in Kindergarten,
she got out a day earlier than everyone else!
Secret donut day!

Parker had a very special evening
at the Idaho Teen Film Festival!
He starred in a short movie that his film class made for their final project.

As we waited for Parker to arrive in his LIMO,
we met a LOT of notable celebrities!

Speaking of waiting...
Here's Mitchell setting up for his 6th grade band concert!

Its pretty much his favorite thing.
*wink*
(or he'd rather be playing football.)

All smiles at the 6th grade graduation!
Good bye Elementary school!

Mitchell (far left) with his buddies from school!
They are such a great group of boys.
Sometimes they come over and hang out.
I have to pay them $5 each to tone it down.
ok, I did that once.
At 11 o'clock at night.

Mitchell dancing his way to his 6th grade diploma!

Every parent was asked to make a slide for their graduate.
*tears* where has my baby boy gone?

Moving onto Colette!
She had a Freshman passion project of making a wedding cake!
She had to chronicle all her steps.
Even the failures...
which were delicious failures....

Beautiful!
The cake is perfect too!

Making white chocolate petals for her flowers.

The finished product!
She made this gorgeous naked rustic looking cake.
Then she served it to the teachers.
She got an A for sure!

Colette followed in her brother's footsteps and landed a job at CULVER'S!
Summer cash flowing in!

Sterling isn't in school yet,
but he listens attentively for scripture study.

Daddy knows so much!

This is my every morning smile!
Can't remember life before this little angel came along!

WHAT?!

We are eating solid foods over here!

Hmmmm....
"I LOVE I T!"

"GIVE ME MORE!"

Other big news,
Sterling sits in the front of the shopping cart too!

I'm in primary conducting songtime,
so Richard gets Sterling for 2nd hour of church.
Looks tough.

Britta spends free time building a treehouse nightlight for her room!

And flying her butterfly kite in the backyard.

Britta also took a plunge into the world of basketball!

And she DOMINATED!
She got better every single game.

By the end of the season and many baskets to her record,
the coach would just yell,
"Get the ball to Britta!"
I was so proud of her practicing so hard and
improving so much.

The warm summers in Idaho bring in all the riff-raff.
In other words, Doug's family is back at the farmer's market!
Can't tell you how much we anticipate their return!
Sterling was a little snarky....

They enlisted the help of some newcomers!
They are such a delicious hit to the market!
Come get one!

Behind their booth
we get a nice shady behind-the-scenes spot!

We are trying to find all the parks in Idaho Falls
this summer.
We started over by Dad's work
at our old stomping grounds.

And of course we have to take a stop at the ZOO!

Tiger statue, every time!

Anji was there too!
Visiting for Grandma's birthday.

We found a creepy "museum" of collections to take Anji too.
Can't tell yet which of these marionettes is haunted.
I'll let you know which one ends up under my bed!

I think that's about all the events we need to mention for this month!

Let's get cleaned up for JUNE!
SUMMER HAS BEGUN!
