zoo pals

Since Parker is at that age where he LOVES animals, we thought we would take him to the zoo. It was such a blast to see his reaction to the huge, live animals as opposed to the small pictures in his books.

The turtles were really really big.
Parker couldn't take his eyes off them.

He loves making monkey sounds, until this monkey swooped down and landed right in his face! I couldn't take the picture of him running away fast enough. So, it's just the monkey.

Now that's a weird looking primate.

Apparently this is Parker's penguin face. Good to know.

And Cole's bored enough to eat her socks.

Never turn your back on a lion!
Parker loves pictures of them,
but he was a little anxious when he saw him.

But most of all, Parker was scared to death to feed the goats.

Until he saw Beckett kissing them.
They must not be so bad.

Ok, it's time to get out of the stroller...
{why did we even bring it?}

"Who you callin' chicken?"

Richard said, "It'd be fun to see that Yak in the tire swing!"

Daddy will protect us from the 800 pound Yak

Then when the kids started riding tigers, we thought it was time to go home.

{ But, I have a feeling we'll be back soon. }

  2. How fun! It seems like I lug the big stroller everywhere only to carry Natalie half the time. I guess everything is more exciting when your not strapped in. I love Parker's expressions, he is such a character! They look like they are having a blast.
