September 11th

It's been 20 years since the tragedy of 9/11.

It's one of those moments that I will always remember where I was

when I saw the second plane hit the building on the news

as they reported about the first plane that had hit.

That's when we knew we were under attack.

This was deliberate.

To commemorate this year,

Richard volunteered us to put up 20 American flags on the church lawn.

I was so glad to teach my children how to respect their flag.

To think about what others have done for their freedom and safety.

It was a beautiful sight!
