it's beginning to look a lot like...
Back to Idaho
Of course this time of year that means
SNOW.
Parker always gets stoked to get out the backdoor and run in the falling snow.
Colette, well, she likes to cry on the stairs.
Excuse the outfit.
We were going for Winter meets Emo Phillips.
"Reunited and it feels so good!"
Dinner was easy.
And of course it didn't take long for the sibling rivalry to break out in a snowball fight.
The victor!
{that means Parker ran inside crying}
We've also had a few Christmas fairs for kids around the neighborhood.
At the mall and at Richard's school.
Face painting.
That's a snowman.
not the stay puff marshmallow man.
Snowflake.
{interject funny kid story}
The mall shops were handing out candy like crazy.
Parker was eating Peanut M&Ms until he got distracted by
a Thomas the Train set.
So, I finished them off thinking he would never know.
All night he never said a word about it
went to bed
woke up the next morning
First thing he said to me,
"Mom! You ate all my M&Ms didn't you?!"
Why do kids have to be so galldern smart.

Lot's of fun carnival games, without the scary carnies.
I prefer Elves much better.
They don't cheat.
They don't cheat.
Colette found a treasure chest.
Ready, aim...
Um guys, it's a lot easier this way.
And of course, a smelly old bounce house!
Then of course, was the appearance of the man himself.
Red faced, chubby belly, cheesy beard....
anxiety...
The school's carnival had door prizes. Of the hundreds of people there, Colette won!
A fancy soccer ball.
It's an omen.
Look out Women's World Cup 2025.
She was pretty excited.
She has to show everyone who comes to our house her new ball.
I can keep her occupied for hours by tossing it down the hall.
She'll run and get it, and I'll toss it again.
Now that's Christmas fun.
Plus now Grandpa Gary can be proud that one of his granddaughters can play some form of futbol.
Snow.. blah! I'm so glad we don't have any of that yet over here. I'm not looking forward to the amount of snow that comes with living near a great lake!
ReplyDeleteHow is you guys have snow & we have none?
