Today is doubly exciting. 

Colette and Richard are one year older!

They love having a birthday together. 

The ultimate daddy-daughter date.

Let me tell you about Colette

She is finally four!

She has been pretending to be four for almost a year.

Favorite Animal:

her answer was "minion" from Megamind.

kitty-cats,

and dogs.

Favorite Movie:

Anything she is currently watching.

An emphatic answer of Macaroni and Cheese

she also said she loves breakfast.

Colette is super super funny. 

She makes the funniest comments every single day. 

She loves movies. 

She is very imaginative

and would contentedly play with her own fingers for hours.

She is brave and adventurous.

She is the first down the sledding hill,

the first to canon ball into the pool,

and the first to say hi to a new friend.

What she looks forward to most this next coming year, 

is PRESCHOOL!

It will be a hoot.

Then there's Richard.

28 years-old today.

Favorite Movie:

Mystery Science Theater 3000

Favorite Games:

Anything that takes at least three hours to play, 

and two days prior studying the rulebook.

Favorite Food:

Mexicano

Richard has accomplished quite a lot this year.

He continues to work on his PhD, in Mechanical Engineering.

He studies Fluid Dynamics.

He loves to play board games,

and I feel my IQ increasing just by playing with him.

He is very devoted to his family. 

His professors are in awe

{as I am too}

how he manages to balance so much family time, 

and research time,

and still manage such superior grades as well.

We are truly blessed to have such a man leading our home.

What he looks forward too this year is

a Fluid Dynamics convention in PITTSBURGH!

Where we finally get to go back to visit our mission.
