Britta's 8th Birthday!

THIS IS A BIG DEAL!

BRITTA IS EIGHT-YEARS-OLD!

Eight years of practice, and she still blinks for a picture!

We took some treats to her school, 

and we saw how they were already spoiling her!

Britta had ballet the night of her birthday,

so Mitchell and Colette wanted to surprise her with a CRAZY dinner!

This was her water cup to drink out of!

Colette being silly also!

Richard's pan lid plate and spatula to eat with!

Mitchell got a crescent bowl and ice cream scoop!

Plus, his normal pint

And Cora fared very well with her potato masher!

Somehow, our bellies got full!

The next night was PARTYTIME!

with ELEVEN of her friends.

*Unrelated, if you are going to have a party of eight-year-old girls,

eleven is too many!

We had a BLUEY party!

So we had to play PASS the PARCEL!

Then it was Britta's turn to open her parcels, er, presents.

The girls all having a BLAST!

CRAZY DANCE PARTY!

She wanted donuts in lieu of a cake.

Done!

Then we, of course, broke out the face paint!

Colette is getting pretty good!

We also got some special grandma time for her birthday!

Such a great weekend,
