Britta's Baptism Day!

Today is Britta's baptism!

What a beautiful DAY!

For a beautiful girl!

Britta turning 8 means she could make the choice to get baptized!

Truth is, she made the choice a long time ago!

She couldn't wait!

She received her own scriptures for her birthday!

She is already filling out a reading chart.

Although, all she wanted for her birthday was her two front teeth!

There will be closed smiles for a while!

Except for those dazzling blue eyes!

Richard has such a way with her.

We call him the Britta whis-per-er.

She's smitten!

So happy everyone that could come to the special day!

We love all our family!

Besides the Seals,

Grandma Jackie was there!

Uncle Doug's family and Christian were there.

Sonia and Janet came.

Laura and Connell's family all came.

Britta's best friend Akayla was there.

Also her primary teacher Sister Carlsen came.

It was really special, cold day!

She was the last baptism of the day,

so the water was cold!

YIKES!

I told her the baptism of fire

would be sure to warm her up!

Britta is something really special!

She is very calculated.

She plans everything out.

What she will wear,

what she needs for school,

whatever the situation,

Britta is ready for it!

She has a great sense of humor!

She is really learning how to say witty things that make us laugh!

She does really well in school!

She was citizen of the week at school this year,

and she always gets straight A's!

She is a fantastic helper and a natural leader.

She just sometimes gets a little baffled 

when her little sister doesn't follow her.

The most impressive thing about Britta is her testimony.

She is so young, but she asks so many good questions.

She really thinks about the gospel,

and wants to understand.

I love that about her.

So today was quite a spiritual high for all of us

who witnessed her radiating example.
