Hey Mr. Tambourine Man...

My Grandma gave me a box full of old, unused coloring books for my kids. 

Elmo's coloring book gave us fun ideas for making musical instruments.

Like the Kazoo...

I let the kids color an old toilet paper roll... 

Deer in headlights... 

 Parker drew a smiley face!

Then you poke a hole, rubber band some wax paper to the end, 

and blow a happy tune! 

Colette was really attached to hers.  

Then we decided our little band needed some tambourines.

Parker used an old Baby Gap bag.

Colette used a cute gift bag my sister made her.

 Cut out two circles, decorate them how you like {we added tassels} 

fill with macaroni

and staple it shut! 

Bang it, shake it... it's sweet music.
