We LOVE February

Make-a the pizza...

...make-a the pie...

...get flour in my eyes, and it make-a me cry...

Speaking of crying,
Colette is now driving,

The van is already scratched.

She's desperately trying to avoid mama
taking a picture of her...

Speaking of mama taking pictures...
Do you look this cute when you wake up?

Sterling's adorable too!

Naps hit this boy hard!

Whether in his crib or waiting for mama to get off the phone...

...Or picking up Parker from a long day of school.
These two both never get a break!

And speaking of Parker,
Even when he gets home from work late,

Sterling is waiting up for him.

He checks to see his hair and teeth are clean before Parker can go to sleep!

And speaking of Parker's hair...
while he may spend his nights scooping ice cream at Reed's Dairy,

by day he is P-Money the Jazz musician.
Or maybe the girls in band class just got a hold of him today.

Speaking of band class...
He was lucky enough to get an MC spot at the latest band concert.
He announced their piece from Looney Tunes!

I didn't know he was going to announce it so I only caught the end!
He's a stinker.
He even did a Bugs Bunny impression!
It was the cutest.

Speaking of the cutest...
Mitchell and the Jr. High band joined in as well!!
See him in the back with a bowtie scrunching his nose?
Classic Mitchell

SHUT UP and Dance!
Not bad for their first time big concert!

Speaking of firsts...
When I took Sterling, Britta and Cora
to the local art museum,
Sterling was inspired and took a crack at being an artist.

Then he said,
"maybe I'm better at sculpting..."

"maybe if you tilt your head..."

Cora also tried her hand at the canvas
with the classic 1st grade rainbow pattern.

Britta came ready to impress with some abstract art!

And speaking of Britta impressing us...
BASKETBALL!
She just ended another dynamite season!

Here she is nailing her first free throw!
I dare you to foul her ever again!

Speaking of basketball,
Mitchell signed up at the Jr. High basketball team manager!
Look at him keeping such good stats!

And carrying around a clipboard is nothing to sneeze at.

Plus he was the best at boosting team morale!
He kept them all smiling!
(which they really needed, because they were terrible)

And speaking of smiling...
Colette happily entered the state science fair!
Here in Idaho, it is entirely optional
(no fair)
but she did a great job and wanted to try her chances!
She studied sleep patterns,
something she is definitely an expert on!

Speaking of experts...
Richard for sure had the February love goggles on this month!

Mama and Sterling got to share in a romantic lunch.
Sterling showed off his new drawing skills.
(tilt your head, remember?)
Next he made art out of refried bean dip
in a diaper canvas.

Then Richard put on his Daddy/Daughter charm and
took THREE dates to the school Valentine dance.
And they each felt so very special to have time with Dad!

He then put on his Father/Son hat
for an ice fishing campout!

Warmer than they expected,
but less fish then they expected too.

Still, fun was had,
hot chocolate was drunk,
toes were frozen,
even if no fish were brought home.

But a fishless February isn't something to cry about!
LOVE is in the AIR!
