GIVE ME THANKS!

Britta had her first dance recital!
Right before Thanksgiving break!

Then we set off on our way to LAS VEGAS
for Thanksgiving at AUNT LISA'S HOUSE!

Here's the little devil!
Smoked by Uncle Heath,

Devoured by Richard.
One leg at a time.

All wild at the kid's table!

Honestly, not much better at the adults table!
We were with Anji and the whole Johnson clan,
The Ashbockers,
and, naturally, sweet Grandma down at the head of the table.

Now one this way...

And back around again...

Me, Sinclair and her new beau.

Colette, Noah, Parker & Grandma

And the Johnson beauties...
Noah, Sinclair and Anji.

After our bellies were stuffed,
we proceeded to the "looking at phones" and "doing nothing"
portion of the beloved holiday.

Sinclair with Cora and Mitchell

Christian with a suddenly not so happy Mitchell, Russell on a phone, and Britta

Naturally our trip included a lot of shopping!
Out on the town with Sinclair and Grandma Jackie!

My precious girls with lovely Anji

The best way to spend Christmas money!
The #LightTheWorld Giving Machine!
Colette was the first to offer her allowance to help pay for something...
I adore her.

Richard and Grant wasted no time breaking into the CHRISTMAS movies!
Kevin McCallister has already been reunited with his family twice.

Lisa knows all the funnest places to take kids in Vegas for a great time!
Cora, for example, is having way too much fun here.

And here...

So is Mitchell.
Honestly, it was a riot.
haha.

Russell and Britta coasting down on snow machines,
getting ready for Idaho winters.

Mitchell and Grant playing it safe on go-karts...

And how else to get home, except on a ladybug.

This was an all-you-can-eat play place with a pizza buffet.
We got there at 1
ate lunch
played for two hours
ate dinner

Genius.

Ethel M. Chocolates in Vegas has a beautiful cactus garden.
They cover them in lights every Christmas.
(I wonder how much you have to pay the guy that wraps lights around a cactus!)
Better him than me.

There were hosts of angelic singing in the air!

And a little bit of disco dancing.

Each kid picked their favorite part to get a photo by.

Some kids have a hard time picking one favorite.

Very snuggly!

Added with chocolate makes for my perfect evening!

WHAT'S THAT?
YOU HAVEN'T HAD ENOUGH FUN YET?
 NEITHER HAVE THEY!

Let's go up to the biggest indoor playground I've ever seen.
And I followed Cora in and out of all of it.
(Having an excuse to go down the crazy cool slides was totally worth it.)

Don't blink or you'll miss them!

Russell doesn't like having his picture taken.
This is as good as it gets sometimes.
haha.

Well, if you are now as exhausted as we are, let's head home.

Lots of sad hugs and snuggles...

But CHRISTMAS IS COMING
with the promise of more time together with those we love.

Like this guy.
Christmas wishes are already coming true!
