More food and fun in Tennessee
We headed into Knoxville for some fun
Richard had a business dinner,
so we hung out at the mall until he was done.
Colette is becoming very good at ROCK CLIMBING!
She has a membership at a local gym in Idaho Falls with her friends.
Here the kid's are at Dick's Sporting Goods in Knoxville
Mitchell and Britta did a really fantastic job too!
I loved it when they rang the bell at the top!
Richard's back from dinner,
so it's time to do some hunting for ours!
Just kidding
This is at Bass Pro Shop
Cora still probably shouldn't be standing up there.
They've at least got them pointed the right way.
If you need someone to shoot old milk cans
we're your guys!
It's like she's found the moose of ultimate wisdom.
And now the moose is thinking he's found the boy of ultimate wisdom.
Isn't Cora strong!
or weird?
What is she doing?
Back at Anchor Downs,
the kids were able to rent out some gear to play games
like pickle ball
and basketball.
It was so hot, they didn't last long with either.
Across the street from our RV park was a darling little ice cream shop.
Which means it was DELICIOUS
but expensive.
We only went this once.
Most nights, we sat around this beautiful fireplace
right on our RV pad
and made some yummy dinner.
(It wasn't always hotdogs)
This is hotdogs on a biscuit.
See, totally different.
ha.
I focused all my creative energy into making a daily new S'mores concotion.
Here's my Kafferep S'mores.
You know, the cookies from Ikea?
It was a good one!
They were called
"Lite Mer!"
(Some More in Swedish)
This is the girl scout cookie,
Samoas in a S'more.
Obviously they were called
Sa'mores.
That was my favorite.
We also had traditional S'mores,
and S'moreos.
My life is amazingly fantastic.
But this became our favorite part of the day.
Richard would come back from a long day of classes,
and we'd all sit around eating good food,
laughing about what we'd done that day.
Then we'd end with our family scripture study.
The Spirit was very much amplified
by the ambiance of the situation.
Just us, no distractions.
It always made me think of the Savior
sitting by a fire on the sea roasting fish
with his apostles,
talking about the gospel.
It was bliss.
