funny times

NEW STORY:
Colette is becoming quite the scardy cat.
She won't get dressed until I prove to her that her shirt/pants/shoes are spider free.
She can't be in a room alone, especially with the light off.
It's really entertaining.
Well, last night at dinner, we were eating tacos,
and suddenly Colette started trembling with that paralyzing scared look on her face.
Richard put his arm around her and asked what was wrong.
She put her fork down, spit the food out of her mouth...
then she slowly pointed to her guacamole on her plate and said,
"That's scary!!"
My daughter is afraid of guacamole.



We were watching HOME ALONE last night.
I know, maybe my toddlers are a little too young,
but oh well, we thought it was fun.
Colette was so anxious but if we turned it off she would scream that she wanted to watch.
Parker sat straight faced the entire movie...
When we asked him if he liked it, he said, "yeah, it's funny."
as monotone as he could.
Then he turned to Richard and said,
"Is the next part going to be funny too?"
We about split our sides just watching them.



The kids had earned another prize from their star charts.
We were letting them pick some toys.
Of course they had to get those cursed sticky hands
{who invented those!??!?!?!?}
And then Colette ALMOST bought a Barbie doll until she saw...
a COW!
I had a feeling that we wouldn't make it out of the store with the doll.
Way too girly for her.
But a COW?!
So, she was so excited to get her sticky hand and her cow,
she walked around the rest of the store singing,
"Stick-y hand. MOO. Stick-y hand. MOO. Stick-y hand. MOO..."
She is so random!!!
