First Day of School

Parker and Colette are in JR. HIGH!

When did that happen?

7th grade.

Here we go!

They are the dragons!

Parker loves anything medieval.

 

Colette with our favorite cat Sokka.

He's a cuddly little doll!

Anyway, this is about Colette...

she made the cheer squad for Jr. High,

so

GOOOOOOOOOOO COLETTE!

Parker,

lover of anime and Japanese culture,

decided he would wear a suit everyday for the school year.

He's pretending he is at a private school in Japan.

He hasn't got beat up yet.

All the parents and teachers adore him for it,

which was no doubt his intention.

Sweet Britta hits FIRST GRADE!

New backpack and all!

A lot happening in my heart right now!

Handsome fourth grader!

They are going to a new elementary school this year.

The one we are actually zoned for.

(We've been rebels up to now)

which is sad that they will have to leave behind old friends,

but they will actually be in the same school with church friends,

AAaaaaaand......

THEY GET TO RIDE THE BUS!

WOOO HOOOOO!

They are such good buddies.

Britta is in her, "I'm going to marry my older brother" phase.

Mitchell is a great big brother.

So, while the kids are away,

Dad will play!

Don't worry it's a no polish manicure.

I actually have time to do Cora's hair...

And of course, there are lots of parks!

She is the most park playing obsessed kids that we've had!

We've tried them all!

It's electrifying!

And at home, we spend a lot of time outdoors with the kitties.

This is Indie.

Or as I call her, Dr. Jones.

She's very adventurous, so we named her after Indiana Jones.

But she's met her match, playing house with Cora.

You can't escape now, Dr. Jones!
